The individual training plan

At the start of their doctorate, doctoral students must draw up an individual training plan (PIF) in consultation with their supervisor and doctoral school director.  This individual training plan is designed to support the student's research and professional projects.

To define their individual training plan, doctoral students choose from modules offered by the Doctoral School, the Doctoral College and Careers Department (DFC) or by other Sorbonne University structures or partner institutions.

Procedures for training outside DFC or ED-GRNE :

The doctoral student registers non-catalog training courses in his or her adum profile, in the "formations" tab: "Declarations of non-catalog training courses".

Each doctoral student must validate at least 90 hours of training over the course of his or her thesis, at least half of which must be cross-disciplinary. This must include training in ethics and scientific integrity. All training courses must be entered in adum.
